Bride Kidnapping Attempt
In the viral video, you can see a group of people forcibly dragging the bride from the wedding venue. It’s later revealed that these people are her own relatives. The video shows the bride being dragged out of the room where she was getting ready for the function. You can see about seven or eight people in the video, forcibly pulling the bride away. During this, one person tries to pull the bride toward himself but fails. It’s reported that during this struggle, the bride’s family threw chili powder on the groom’s side. What’s the Story?
This incident took place during a reception party in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The bride, Gungavaram Sneha, and the groom, Battina Venkatnandu, met in a college in the Narsaraopet district. They became friends and eventually fell in love. On April 13, they got married at the famous Durga Temple in Vijayawada. After the wedding, the groom’s family hosted a reception party on April 21, to which the bride’s family was also invited. It was during this reception that the bride’s family attempted to kidnap her. In the scuffle that ensued, a relative of the groom was seriously injured.
